Vertigo

Just had a small bout with some vertigo. My doctor believes it was caused by either allergies or a viral issue. I am taking some medicine and my doctor advised it will be resolved within a few days. Can you provide some information on how this relates flight medical issues. Thanks!

If it is an acute problem and resolves, it is not an issue. We all get this with cold or allergies to some extent or another. If it totally resolves, there is not a problem. If you are taking medications, that may be disqualifying while you take the medication, depending on what was prescribed.

Thanks! I am prescribed Antivert, and am supposed to be on it for five days. I suppose I should for safety reasons cancel any flying while on the medication. I appreciate the reply.
