VC-25 Carrying A Deceased Dignitary

Dude..AF has some large cajones stealing the corps' cover. I felt bad wearing it and I was in the Navy (you see, the Marines are in the Dept. of the Navy...the ladie's dept..yuk yuk)


Some seriously hideous uniforms...some 3 star got a MSM for that, I'm sure. What's with the tiger stripe...somebody fall asleep watching John Wayne in "The Green Berets's"? Kind of a Vietnam throwback...boots look like mickey mouse boots...

I remember when we went through about a dozen uniform changes when I was in the AF.

I remember our uniforms looked too much like the Army, so we made ours look like the Navy. Then, we had to change them back.

And the stupid leather patch on the BDUs WITHOUT rank? Then with rank. Then back to the cloth name strips and unit insignia.

I think I kept the tailor shops employed for years, having to modify my uniforms on a semi-annual basis...
