Vasectomy Questions...

Uh ... make that 7500 ... the hospitals should provide coffee in their newbor kits!

Lots, and lots of coffee.

Screw the coupons for brands I don't use, give me some freaking COFFEE so I can stay awake to take care of these two!

I was at PF Changs yesterday too! Is PF Changs a chain? I've never heard of it outside of Tucson. Small towner.

Yes it is! I've been to the one at the Tropicana Hotel/Casino in Atlantic City. I only wish there was one where I live -- now THAT would be heaven. :)

Are you going for the 'snip snip' (scissors) or the "chew chew chew" laser beam?

How about vasclips? they are a relatively new method. No cutting of the vas, just these small plastic clips ( the size of a gran of rice), a study just came out of the first men to get it (after over 2 years) with a 100% success
rate. FDA approved - Maybe the doc knows more...

It is another gimmick that adds to the cost. Insurance companies don't pay for them. If you are going to get a vasectomy, you need to have a piece of the vas deferens sent to the pathologist to confirm under the microscope that the tissue is vas deferens. There is a 2% rate identifying tissue that is not the vas deferens and those guys are called DADDY:laff:.

Also, anyone in medicine who claims a 100% rate of success in any surgical procedure is lying.

Hysterectomy is 100% for sterility but it has complications and they can be major. No one advocates hysterectomy as a sterilization procedure.
