Usual insurance times?

slushie

Still here.
How much time in type does the standard owner policy require of a non-owner pilot?

(Not rental, but say for letting a friend fly or having the airplane ferried)

For light piston singles.

Do you mean an open pilot clause? I've found most require 300-500tt and 10-100tt in type. Some also require an IR and Comm. My friend's older 172 requires 300tt and 50 PIC in 172s.

This link has quite a bit of information on it:

make sure you have a subrogation clause, otherwise if something happens the insurance company will come after YOU once they pay the claim
