User Fees

Well, some of our hotels are better, but not most of them. We actually stay at some of the worst hotels compared to other majors. It's one of our big sticking points in our next contract.


It is true that some hotels can't have that many crew from different airlines? I heard somewhere that airlines that have the most employees get the best hotels, while the lower ends get the crappy ones?

No, it's just a matter of contract language and the airline's willingness to spend on the rooms. Our company would rather put us in a crappy Days Inn even if it would only cost them $0.10 more to put us in a Hyatt. UAL gets the best hotel rooms because they have great hotel language in their contract. It's just a matter of negotiating for it.
 
Todd most hotels dont have free internet? And I was complaining for the longest time about our White Plains hotel not having it! :) Now they do.....
 
A little google searching will show you a number of ways to defeat the crap security they have on most pay-for-wifi nodes.
