USAir announces daily nonstop XNA-DCA

Yeah, I know :D

(Hey man, me with no makeup is a pretty scary sight! :bounce:)

When I was marooned in NY in the summer of '02, I spent many nights in the JFK & LGA crew rooms. Sometimes I'd get a couch, sometimes I'd get in late and would spend the night on a couple rolling office chairs pushed together (which, as long as you don't wiggle around a lot, is really not all that bad). But every night I spent there, I found myself thinking of all the people out on the streets of NY that night. I thought I actually had it pretty good where I was those nights, I was inside, with a/c & heat, I was safe, I was pretty sure I was going to get through the night without being raped, robbed or beaten. I had it a lot better than a lot of other people in NY those nights....
When you look at it from that perspective, you are absolutely right! I had my share of "crew room" overnights in the past, so I know exactly what you are talking about. :)

USAir was actually the last airline to leave the old Fayetteville airport. I believe the original flights from CLT-XNA were served by Mesa using those uncomfortable Embraer 50 seat passenger jets. Eventually the CRJ's won out on that route.

Errr-uhhh...you looking to start beef, buddy? ;)
