USA Jet

I was told the next class was most likely going to be December or January.

I'd rather work for USA Jet and make a livable wage and have some time to myself, vs going to a commuter and not having money or spare time and having to share a one bedroom apartment with 12 other people.

Thanks for the info, mnixon.

i couldnt agree more, on-demand 135 cargoin in a jet is where its at to build the resume. plus a better lifestyle in my opinon. quick upgrade at most companies and better pay then the regionals. some guys at usajet are lifers are as there are some at my company. i dont know about doing this forever, but when you weight the other options. ondemand cargo looks way better.

Does USA Jet have multiple bases or just one?
Technically two, YIP and ABQ, although you have to ask and their has to be an opening in ABQ to interview for those positions and mins are higher. Otherwise all new hires go to YIP

What's their mins?
Not sure what their mins are. I was contacted out of the blue but I would guess around the basic 135 mins would get you a call.

The friend I have there is always complaining about how little he flies. He wants to move onto a regional, but does not have enough time for any "good" ones (he was hired with >300 hours).

With more or less than 300?

If he was hired at 300, that's a damn much better starting pay than a regional.
