USA Jet

Hey all,

I have an interview with USA Jet next month. I've gotten alot of information about the interview process, so I think I know what to expect with that. But, I've gotten some conflicting information regarding how much the Falcon crews fly. I heard once place that you can regularly break guarantee, other places you sit around and rarely fly. Anyone working there that can straighten this out for me?

Thanks!!

A friend of mine left USA Jet for a regional. He was freight all the way. I just think he got tired of the 20 minute thing and long upgrades, even for a 3000 hour pilot at the time. He was saying, based on how much he was flying, it would be several years before he'd see the left seat of the Falcon. He didn't really say anything bad about the company per se, one thing to note was cover all the important switches when the stuff hit the fan cause Randy likes to push buttons impulsively.

Add me to the former ranks of starcheckers. I start class here the 27th.
Outfreakingstanding, Matt. Good luck and let us know how it goes. You'll love and hate being away from Airnet, even with all the crap going on there. Trust me!

Yea I told my wife I'll miss the relaxed atmosphere about Airnet but there are a lot of other things I won't miss. I'm looking forward to the change that's for sure.

I bawled my eyes out, drank a glass of merlot and watched the Notebook for the 12th time. I don't know how I'll go on!

The friend I have there is always complaining about how little he flies. He wants to move onto a regional, but does not have enough time for any "good" ones (he was hired with >300 hours).

No, they called me early because they had a dropout and had to fill the spot. Heard last week that they are gonna run another class this year.

Not all of us want to fly 1000 hrs a year. Some of us have done that and whoever wants it can have it.
