US Airways Sues Pilots

I wonder if they give you the option to work for either the west or east since they are on different pay scales. :laff:

The -west still has guys on furlough. All the growth (and attrition due to age) has been on the -east side so that is where new hires are going. About 80-20 whether you get a 190 or Airbus slot.

They all work for the same company. Sounds like buying into the USAPA hype.

So you think the west pilots should make more? If you say they all work for the same company and should all get paid the same then you are agreeing with USAPA.

So that's going to make them dump oodles of money on the pilots lap? Read what Surreal said.

I didn't say it was the smartest thing to do but I don't have any sympathy for the company losing millions from the pilots actions and won't lose any sleep at night, they deserve it. Just keep it fair and even steven...it's all the same company now.

The reality is that worst major is still better than the best regional.

I don't know if this really makes sense.

Side note:
I know for a fact that airways guys slow down ops in clt. I'm sat in the jumpseat plently of times, and the captain says "oh were a couple minutes early, lets just hang out here on the ramp" They block up the ramp and mess things for everybody.

I mean I know why there upset, http://news.bostonherald.com/entertainment/travel/view.bg?articleid=1353583
Did anybody read this? It was a full page ad in the USA today a couple weeks ago.

And I just talked to a airways guy yesterday, said that the company wants them to stop wearing there yellow safety first lanyards... I guess they are too ugly or something.

Now Airways, PDT and PSA, only allow "company approved" lanyards. I forget the exact rules but basically if it isn't a US Airways lanyard or badge holder it's no longer allowed. This goes from the CSAs and ramp right up to the pilots.

Mergers always bring out the drama, trust me.

It's going to be in my upcoming book in chapter 7 entitled, "I also missed the CEO's call when he rang to ask my opinion, so CLEARLY your gripes are all my fault"

I thought the lanyard said I'm on board. Not safety first.
