No- there's no requirement for all class positions to go to Eagle pilots. In fact AA has percentage requirements based on whether or not Eagle has pilots on the street. The largest *required* percentage we have language for is 50%.

Given that we're suddenly not parking the -140's and we've been told that pilots flowing will be metered, there will still be street hires. Plenty.

Sorry to hear about ur mom. My mom has terminal cancer so that hits a soft spot. Wish nothing but luck and blue skies to u and ur family.

Nobody told me Dad was terminal when he was so I missed a lot in the end. Chemo's come a long way since the 90's but when the diagnosis is stage 4 liver cancer and it's too far gone to operate without a round of chemo first, things are kinda screwed.

So there ya go, ya hosers. This is why I'm suddenly so heated to see some movement at Eagle. I can't afford to start fresh as a probationary pilot anywhere else- I need to stick where I am for the FMLA and off time. And where I am is driving me crazy! I can't stand some of these loser senior captains that fly like bad instrument students.

And no, I don't expect them to be welcomed warmly at AA. The AA training department has been more than willing to drum out some of our more notorious non-hackers. So an Eagle flow is win-win. Piping hot, muy-experienced new hires for AA and they only keep the good ones.

And no- I can't believe that AA is actually taking this deal from the DOJ. But hey, even I'm not always right.

I understand the time off part. I was looking forward to getting downgraded at pinnacle for the time off. My mom has brain cancer and was told 12-18 months and we are at 26 so my days off are valuable as well. It puts perspective on this rat race of a career that's for sure.

I am so sorry. We had a co- worker who hung on with brain cancer despite the original prognosis for nearly 7 years. We cherished him through it all. Our thoughts are with you.

I obviously didn't know about your mom. Cancer is terrible and has affected my family greatly. I wish your mom the best.

What indications do you have that "nothing was done"?

Most moderation happens behind the scenes and I, personally, have taken care of most of it personally.

If you have serious concerns with the moderation of the website, you have my personal number, you're always free to text or call because adults do their best to avoid public spectacle.

I've got a few thousand posts to filter through and if a couple don't correspond to someone being a good neighbor to you, you need to report it else my highly paid moderators may not see the trend you see.

When you call people dicks, ass and idiots you're the one provoking people. Your behind the scenes theory was silly even back when it had a chance of being true and now that this is all a done deal it just makes you look petty.
