Evidently the EB has negotiated for a two year contract extension with our Corporate Overlords. I must confess, I did not see this one coming.

Presumably, UPS wants to concentrate on the Teamsters contract, and we want to see how the FedEx contract shakes out. Interesting times.

I think it's probably the best they could do with a bad situation. As someone said on the B&G, I understand, but I'm still disappointed. I will most likely vote yes, but the inability to address scheduling is infuriating.

FedEx Boosts Dividend, Adds Directors in Deal With Activist D.E. Shaw

FedEx is expanding its board under an agreement with D.E. Shaw and will adjust its executive-compensation program and increase its quarterly dividend.

Fred retires and 3 seats on the board for activist investors. Can't say I see a landmark contract coming down the pike anytime soon.
