Updates on Delta Contract Talks

Hi all, new member here. Just wondering how things are going with openers at Delta. I’m at another carrier watching closely to see what gains are possible and what things are being worked on. I read through another forum but I can only take so much of that one.

I’m very worried about the economy and if we are forced to negotiate during a bad recession in the coming year or two. With the inflation we’re experiencing, there must be some pretty big pay bumps to keep up with living costs.

Very early in negotiations. Not much has happened yet. If it does it will be the easy stuff first most likely.

Pay and QOL are rarely the easy things.

No point in stressing about the economy and a recession coming. That talk has been going on for 5 years now, lol.

If it happens it happens. As far as negotiations, it’s early and not negotiated public anyways. Need trip coverage sequence resolved which is going to be a massive chip for the hands of ALPA.
