university of oklahoma major

I think I've finally decided on OU, but am still not sure about what to major in, should I go all in on the Aviation major? If not I was thinking of majoring in petroleum geology and minor in aviation just to get my ratings even though the main goal here is to become a pilot.
 
Have you looked into Oklahoma STATE University?? They have a better aviation/flight program. I have attended both. I recieved my degree and most my flight training from OSU. Additionally, I gt a couple certificates during some summers at OU since I lived nearby.

I strongly recommend the OkState "Flying Aggies". My major was in Aviation Management. I am now a weapon sytem program manager for the DoD Dertmant of the Air Force. I'm a contractor. My degree has given me the opportunity to work on the business side for the KC-135, B-1B, B-2, E-3, and several Jet Engines such as the F100, F110, F119, TF33 and several others.

lol well REALLY Southeastern Oklahoma State University has the better program when comparing OU or OSU.

OK really, i'm just kidding. No really I am. I would go with the petroleum geology. Or maybe even something more general.
 
i am currently finishing up my degree in Aviation Mgt here at OU. I would recommend this for a degree. You also get a minor in business as well. As for whos program is better well everyone from each school will say that they have the best. However i can tell you that OU has the newest fleet out of the Oklahoma schools. South Eastern has been on the decline as of late. I promise that you wont be sad that you picked OU. I wish I could make it to the banquet this year. How's the program running there? Is it full of students? Do the instructors see any multi time? When I was a student there, a lot of instructors had to go elsewhere to build multi time.
