Those who are not vaccinated have until Sept 27 to do so. As of now, no one has left because of the mandate. And, there have been religious exemptions submitted so people are waiting for the company replies.Anybody currently at United care to comment on if people have left because of Vaccine mandate?
You will need to be vaccinated by the time class starts, which will be in January.Random but figure this will eventually be asked.. any idea on if they are wanting you vaxxed before they start interviewing etc? or is something that you could get an offer?
Arlington Heights will be HDQ. There will be a second NOC. IAH and DEN are the top two options. Mgmt wants the 2 NOC's on different power grids. However, if the city of Chicago made a huge financial offer, they could stay at Willis. Money talks.Still moving out of Willis tower to Arlington heights?
Currently, half of the operation is at Willis and the other half is at Arlington Heights. AH will be the new HDQ starting next year.Still moving out of Willis tower to Arlington heights?
Does this mean hiring will slow down in 2023.
Curious about this as well but for all majors. Since the hiring frenzy is happening now how’s the outlook gonna be a few years down the road
It’s the airline industry. Prediction is futile.
This. The only reason the majors are hiring so much is because of an unforeseen black swan event which started last year (and is still ongoing) that affected world travel, prompting the major airlines to lobby for bail outs and both furlough and early retire many of their employees. Without such a series of events happening they would not be in the positions they currently are in nor would we have the opportunities we see now. It’s the airline industry. Prediction is futile.
