United hiring "DSC"....

Hello to everyone here, I'm kinda new or new here.

My question is actually for manniax and that is.......does anyone in the NOC commute via plane ? From other cities around the country ?
The life of a commuter is a unique one. CASS definitely helps, but the high loads don't necessarily always make life easier---especially when airlines close bases, and most of the flying is done by regionals.

Ummm...My guess is your new employer will have that info. This forum, while full of fun facts, might not be the most reliable place to get such specific info.

Although that might be true, you never tell an interviewer that you want commute. That right there is almost saying your not certain you want the job.

Well, it's one thing to commute for a few months, and another to say that you want to do it full time for as long as you're employed. I agree though, in either case - it's better to just tell the interviewer how much you like the city you're interviewing in and how you can't wait to move there.

FWIW, I know of someone who has already been offered the position. They may be hiring additional, but I doubt it. It's a small group.
