There is nothing stopping you that says "this application will not submit because you don't have the mins." The submit button will still work.

Send it anyway because the worst they can do is ghost you, and it's free to apply. But don't sit around waiting by the phone expecting to bypass the line.

Had not heard of this practice. I am sorry that is the current state of recruiting.

Basically they want to ask me 9 written questions and I have to answer on a video recording so they can get to know me better. Have to do it by the 13th. I submitted my application and got the email inviting me to do the one-way interview a few days later.

This is considered the next step of the hiring process. You should have unlimited time between questions to answer but only 3 timed takes before you submit. Whatever you have on that third attempt is what they see. Should be mostly HR type questions, STAR method is your friend.

Just thought I would get on this forum and say I truly hope everyone of you get hired on . It’s miserable right now for us newbies trying to get on with a regional.

I would look beyond just the 121 regional Airlines… Look at 135 cargo because it gives you dispatching experience. Then you will be much more competitive getting into a regional airline if you cant get in.

I’m not expecting anything from them until they stopped, taking applicants.

Thank you for the advice…I have a couple of 135 interviews lined up next week . I have gotten an interview with a couple 121’s just seem like they are only ever hiring for a handful of spots and a million highly qualified individuals with fresh DX tickets … not to mention all the other current regional dispatchers with a year on looking to get home or close to family etc.
