Uniform Pants

As a follow up, if this might help anyone else out...

I finally found some uniform pants that I'm really happy with. I purchased them from a police uniform supply store. They are the best uniform pants I have had in a long time. I figured if police officers can wear these pants every day, dealing with bodily fluids, blood, dirt, arrests, etc., then I'm sure they will do OK with the rigors of line flying.

I picked up two different pairs of pants from http://www.galls.com in the Class A Uniform section. Both trousers are very comfortable, seem durable, and have the rubber band sewn into the waistband to hold your uniform shirt tucked in. They also are very wrinkle resistant.

Moderately priced at $40.99.

Hope it helps!

Are you going to grow a sweet cop mustache now?

We uses M&H at Piedmont, I hate those pants!! Instead I go to Walmart and got some George that cost me $17 each and love them.

Several people I know are getting black uniform pants at JC Pennys and loving them. I'm still wearing the old uniform and haven't made the jump to black yet, but when I do I think I'll try the Penny's option.

I've been getting mine at JCPenney's for several years now. Haggar dress pants are $60 always marked down to $29.99. They're every bit as good as the uniform providers, IMO, and have a dressier look to them. I buy two pairs at a time...wear them for several months...then throw them out and start again.

I also use Dryel home dry cleaning between trips. About $10 for 5 cleanings. It does pretty good for normal wear cleanings.

You still put the $20 a week for tax purposes, right? ;)

I personally like Levi's, once the door's closed.....:D

...But have lots of M&H (Thanks uniform allowance in the CBA!) that have served me well
