I asked around and I couldn't find anybody who had heard anything about anyone drinking in a sim.
Could you clarify the story a bit?
I think there are some people at the University doing a study on how alcohol affects the brain. I remember seeing a sign asking for IFR current, male pilots, that are at least 21 years old. That study has been going on for a few years now. That could have been what you saw.
