Well? It's been over 2 years since we've had the car thread in the UND forum that people would throw fits over. Let's start one. Tom, how's your E36 M3 treatin' ya?

here's my E36.... love of my life!

All you city folk with your exotic foreign cars....:p
We only had the option of buying Ford, Chrysler, or GM, because if a foreign car needs service, we'd have to take it to either Great Falls or Billings to get it fixed.

That said, I'm still rolling in a 2001 Mercury Cougar with StreetGlow. :D I just had the A/C fixed in it because the 2 driver's side vents wouldn't blow out cold air for about 10 minutes when I first start the car up, but the other 2 on the passenger side were working fine...

'03 Toyota Corolla CE... manual EVERYTHING. Still running great and some 33mpg in town, 42 highway. Photo later. It's the red one with hail damage (so I got a little close on a few storm chases...).

I know most people have already seen it, but the fact that paid off the car last month warrants some photos. :D

2000 Honda Civic Si with 91,000 miles. I put out a fake ad on Craig's List for $9,500 just to see if it was true that the stock and "un-riced-out" Si's like mine are still going for that much money (and even more) and people flooded my email with requests to hold it and pay in cash. KBB value is $7,560-$9,385. What is crazy is I actually have equity in the car since I bought it from my brother for $8,500 five years ago back when it was worth $14,000. Not bad for a 10 year old car.

Here are some interesting reviews of the car from back in the day...

pretty amazing how pristine youve kept that thing, jace. its a really nice car.

i got out and washed the bmw today, so another few pics....

gonna tackle recovering my headliner tommorrow i think. might also paint the rocker panels and front/rear fascias to match... two-tone is so 90's...

and dough, i am supremely jealous. my old roommate bought an 08 335 twin turbo... black/black... that thing was like the ultimate stealth fighter.

i shall have one someday.

Dude, this car is fantastic! Gives me smiles every time I drive it!!! Just put a clutch in a little while ago. It didn't really need it but the throw-out bearing was starting to make a little bit of noise. As cold as it gets up here, you really don't want to mess with sealed bearings being even a little worn.

Pics!

All the Dinan goodies. Dinan strut brace, intake, cat-back exhaust, and stage II software. I didn't buy that stuff, the previous owner did. No way I could as that stuff is ridiculously expensive and over priced if you ask me. Except for the exhaust. Dinan exhaust is by far the best I've ever heard. Oh man does it sound delicious!

Doesn't do too well in the snow on FAT Falken all-seasons! Next winter, it's definitely getting some freaking skinny ass snow tires!

Bar non, the best car I've ever driven in my life! Call me a fanboy!

Bar non, the best car I have ever been ashed in the face in.

solution: get rid of those silly extra doors ;-)

don't need no ballast in the back seats anyway.

oh and Tom, WHEN your headliner starts to sag (all E36's do it!) go ahead and drop it and recover it yourself.

I did mine this weekend at it was quite easy. 5 hours start to finish. looks great.

Yeah, not a speedster, but 38-43 on the highway depending on speed, and 32-36 in town for a non-hybrid ain't bad. Besides, the AC is ice cold, the it heats up quick. Very nice for ND weather.

Haha, hell no! I specifically shopped for the 4 door! Took me a year and a half to find one!
