Ugh. Our dogs got hit and killed.

Im sorry guys! This must be a bad month for pets. I put mine down last week. It certainly isn't easy! Sometimes I catch myself forgetting that he's gone! After this next flight, I'll crack open a cold one for all of our lost, loyal little friends!

Sounds like a great place for them. We thought about bringing our dog to our wedding, but there was a pond nearby. Might not have ended well.

A little late to the thread, but I'm really sorry for your loss. I love my dogs more than I like most people. They really are part of the family. There's a quote that I read once, that I'm having trouble finding, so I'll paraphrase.

The reasons dogs live such short lives is because they fill our lives with so much love that if they lived any longer, the loss would be unbearable.

Or something along those lines.
 
Sorry CF, it's never easy to lose a member of the family like this. Truly sorry for your loss.
