After a couple more years in the business I can totally understand why you and your lady weren't overly interested in going flying last time you were in Jtown.

They tried. Even fined a guy $10 grand . NTSB ruled the FAA could not control drone activities. Now tied up in the US Court of Appeals.

The difference is the letter opinion is based on regulations that exist. The main problem in the drone arena is there aren't any.
