Considering they hire internals that meet none of these qualifications, don’t let it deter you.

So true, they hire many that don't meet the requirements. Just go ahead and apply. You definitely have more experience than most internals.

Its not required just preferred.
Although you may have more experience than most internals. They have something far more valuable...
They have demonstrated to the company that they are either crazy or normal.. Very important now a days....

Thats true for any internal at any airline.

I’m not sure this is 100% true at an airline as big as United. The dispatch managers at United have no idea who these schedulers or rampers are that apply. So all they have to go by is internal recommendations from other employees. Which is the same recommendations an external could get. Granted they have access to your employee file and could ask your current boss/ but again- they are going off of somebody’s opinion. And we all know about opinions...

Is there a certain threshold of internal recommendations and/or qualifications that help fish an external application out of the trash can that picking "no" on the "Do you have more than 2 years of 121 dispatch experience?" question seems to put your app in?

Sooo, I went to the ADF summit in Dallas this year and, I heard that this dx class is of 12 with 3 Upgrades from Dispatch support. So 15 in total. BTW, I wish they fix all the problems with the UAL candidate program software. Or at least give a explanation for the weirdness. Good luck to everyone

If you try to apply through the career website, it now shows the job is no longer posted. Is this posting closed already (just got the auto email from the career website 2 days ago) or are there more technical issues on the UA side?

Soo...who's profile still shows active, under review? or is everyone showing -Submission Status: You are no longer being considered for this position?
