A passenger on the plane, Dennis Fee, told WPVI-TV that it was “very windy and when the plane took off, the nose of the plane went back down, hitting the runway.”
“We were airborne, then struck back down by the nose,” he said.
“The flight kind of shot up and then bounced down,” 33-year-old passenger Christopher Teaney told the Philadelphia Inquirer. “Bounced real hard. Shot up again, and then nose-dived.

So what's the deal with the reports of the airplane becoming airborne briefly?

Reminds me of an abort I did. At the 80kts cross check the captain realized the standby airspeed indicator was still at zero. Decided to abort, no biggie, TONS of runway. Made the first high speed with moderate braking.

Anyway, the flight attendant was convinced we left the ground and came back down. Even though we were driving there was absolutely nothing we could say to make her believe us. Then again she's pretty bonkers. @CRJDriver probably knows who I'm talking about.

Via the eye witness account.... they apparently rotated, got in the air, dropped back down and bounced, then forced it down collapsing the nose gear.

I just saw video on the news that a girl shot selfie style while running away from the plane. I really dislike people sometimes.

Just remember that when the zombie apocalypse comes, there will be enough hipsters taking selfies being eaten to hopefully allow you time to escape.
