Reference my above post. Time is time, but if you log the time and cannot discuss the systems of that aircraft, you're going to get into trouble with interviewers, and you're also nothing more than a passenger.
A buddy had a student a few years ago who had several hundred hours of SIC in a Metroliner in his/her logbook. He/she could not even describe how the gear system operated. That's bad. That's being a gear-puller who's trying to pad the logbook.
Point being, if you're going to log it, ensure you can legally log it. That means know thy systems.
