9/10 times, really unless it is a first start of the day scenario, I'm up in that thing with at least the hyd pumps turning. Most of the time, it is the trifecta of noise (elec hyds, packs, and APU). I'd be very happy if all of them were off. That is peaceful.

Tires are serious business, even on a bicycle I turn my back to the tire and wear safety glasses if I need to seat the bead. It is unfathomable to me that they would work on a tire without checking that it had been deflated.

Had a tire on bike blow up while driving on the highway. Very scary. Thought someone had shot out my back window, ears rang, all that jazz. Could only imagine how violent something with a much larger volume of compressed air would be.
