Two Dead in Bonanza Crash in South Florida [Video]

Read Joe Biden's biography. Not just his daughter, but also his wife. At Christmas. While Christmas shopping.
And Beau, later in his life, though the death of an adult child is likely just as difficult to grapple with.

One could argue, he hasn’t.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for the neighborhood watch cameras and such; dash cams on cars providing amazing help for accident investigations in automotive claims....but damn that video was not one I should've watched. I really, really hope it can at least provide additional insight on whatever went wrong though.

It was definitely an "I need a few moments" type of thing post-watch. Still makes me sad, thinking about it.

....Joe's biography aside...

On another note...

Friends of mine from college are still happily working on their home nursery room addition for their firstborn on the way. From what my buddy made public, it's three attempts later. Life is a pain in the ass -- I can't think what an empty crib or quiet nursery room would do to a mind of a hopeful, or recently new, parent. No thanks.

Coming from anyone else, I’d be insulted.
Your opinion of me is regarded about as much as a former ALPA rep who was fired, left the airlines, and well, never really let the airlines go.

Still spreading that lie even after being corrected, huh?

You're welcome to call Southwest Airlines posing as an employer to verify my employment history. You won't find any termination.

It's a great mystery to me how anyone functions after losing a child. One of my co-workers at TPA lost his 11-year old son to cancer and seeing him back at work a few weeks later blew my mind.

I would imagine that people have different coping mechanisms and/or distractions. Likely for some people, work is that. Whether the work itself, just being busy, being around coworkers, or any combination thereof, is likely as individual as personalities are. Just my assumption.

A more than fair assumption, Mike. We play the cards we’re dealt and do the best we can, one moment at a time.

Don’t know if it’s true, but supposedly this plane was a recent import from South Africa. It was for sale on trade-a-plane with 49 STOH...done in 2011.

I’m betting it came over in a box. If so, who reassembled it, did the export/import inspection, etc? But yea, I bet the inside of the engine was red/orange. I’m assuming SA is similar to FL for corrosion.

South Africa experiences a high degree of sunshine with rainfall about half of the global average, increasing from west to east, and with semi-desert regions in the north-west. While the Western Cape has a Mediterranean climate with winter rainfall, most of the country experiences summer rain.

There ya go. I was thinking coastal area and opposite latitude (S), but that’s more like NC. I guess it’s just “assme.” Not “u.”
