Two Dead in Bonanza Crash in South Florida [Video]

Sounds like N236BC from the LiveATC tape. Was cleared for a left downwind departure on 10L and seemingly no other audio. Went down near the departure end of 10L.

What a horrific way to die, so terrible. Must have been a horrific last few seconds. While good for the investigators, it really sucks for the families that this was caught on tape being such a violent crash. Damn. RIP.

The guy in the car got slammed pretty hard too.

If it is that Bonanza, it is registered to a LLC that owns a fleet of airplanes and not the typical flight school rentals. 210s, Baron, C206, Saratoga/ Lance and and a couple of the usual suspects from a flight school - Seneca, C182, and an Arrow.

Just having a normal day then out of no where an airplane falls out of the sky and kills your son. Extremely sad.

Don’t know if it’s true, but supposedly this plane was a recent import from South Africa. It was for sale on trade-a-plane with 49 STOH...done in 2011.

Wow. The news about the child takes this to another level. I don't know how one ever would return to some sense of normalcy after losing their child like that. Ugh.

It's a great mystery to me how anyone functions after losing a child. One of my co-workers at TPA lost his 11-year old son to cancer and seeing him back at work a few weeks later blew my mind.
