Gave up on the Loadstar?
Hell yea. You want to go partners on one? It'll be hangared in Seattle.
No, but trying to be practical on Mike's behalf. He's going to have kids and such for college. A Lodestar might be a little much. Me personally - no, I'd never give up on a Lodestar.Gave up on the Loadstar?

Mine got a new fuel selector this annual.Great birds...have over 300 hours in one and counting. The 1000 hr gear AD is one of the ones to look out for. It's expensive if nothing is wrong, more so if you have to start replacing parts. Try to get a pre-buy at a shop familiar with comanches. The type group can help- Delphi Forums Login
Very few recurring AD's; the fuel selectors come to mind. There is one for the heater as well depending on the model. Happy to answer any questions. PM me your info if you want to talk offline.
Cheers
I've never flown an aircraft with counter rotating props. The difference between a left and right engine failure wasn't much.Does having the counter-rotating props significantly improve the safety factor of a twin? I know the Pilot is the most dangerous thing but I get heebie-jeebies when I read these news articles about a twin crashing after takeoff.
I’m just a SEL Mooney owner and I’m considering dumping my baby for a “cheap twin” to rack up some multi. I’ve owned a/c for years so I know the mx rabbit holes can turn into.
