I have heard Aerostars are worse, in that regard.

The most violent thing I have ever seen was ground spoilers popping on rotation in the sim. Granted, not very likely, but it made for a bad day.

With the caveat that I have never flown an MU-2, I'd wager all cabin class piston twins are more difficult than all turbo-props.

Haven't flown an Aerostar, either, but a 421 is a pussycat compared to a Mitsi at low speed. At high speed in the MU-2, you almost wouldn't notice if it weren't for the NTS.
