Wish I had lived in the 60's.

Anyway, yeah knives were there before and planes didn't fall out of the sky. When someone stabs someone violently on board an airplane and/or acts like a general nuisance with a knife, then I think reasonable restrictions could come back in place. And I agree, if someone tries to wield a knife in an attempt to hijack an airplane, I'll be the first to jump on top of his neck if I can beat all of the other passengers charging towards him. I don't have time for that.
