The whole thing is a Joke. I recently had to take a test about new TSA procedures and had to awnser four times before I took the test that I knew it was secure information and I couldn't tell anyone about it. Of course EVERYTHING in the course was stuff you can find on their website.

Doesn't this make you all warm and fuzzy inside..."role playing" so these GED grads don't lose their calm....that is a comforting notion.

One of my favorites

This guy was SO SERIOUS about standing there at parade rest with his "Mobile security kit" at the gate. So now we get to be harassed a second time before finally boarding! HOORAY!

There were 3 other TSA agents standing the same way to the right of the picture, just standing there doing nothing.

About 4 months ago a 'friend' of mine forgot he had some 9mm rounds in his backpack and flew from Atlanta to Denver. TSA failed to catch them, thank God. My 'friend' is to pretty for prison.

A friend of mine just put on the first pair of pants he saw and forgot to to empty his pockets and took through his 200 pounds of semtex and twelve canisters of sarin gas that he forgot he put in his pockets the night before. TSA failed to catch them, phew! :)

Every so often they come up to me and say "Do you mind if we screen your passangers?". I usually say "I can't really say no, so go ahead. Theres a whole 10 people going to Crecent City today". Not that they would be more useful doing that to a flight going to Frankfurt or something.

I went through security in Indy once, back in 2000, with a Gerber EZ-out knife in my pocket. The inspector looked at it and said I could pass.

Today I'd go to prison for that.

Pretty sure you can take a knife with you?

I've taken my S&W knife onboard with me. It's a 3 inch serrated blade. But they did say that i had to chug my water before going through.

My favorite story was the woman with the frozen home-canned tomatoes. The TSA had to have a discussion which included something to the effect of "Is this a test?" They decided the tomatoes weren't liquid at the moment and let her go.
