Wow! Did I screw up today.

Some of you know that I am relocating to Seattle, so for a while I have been bouncing between California & Seattle.

So, this morning I am packing my bags & changed bags several times, well in the middle of those bag changes I put something in my carryon tha was meant to go in my check-in.:panic:

So, I show up at the airport early, do everything that I was supposed to do, except when my bag went threw the x-ray machine.

I had a 3 inch steak knife & a cutting board in my check in bag & that stood out on the x-ray machine.

Goodness was I embarassed! Interviewed by the agent, Supervisor, quick some type of background, interview by the Police.

I was embarassed as I know better & I just screwed up. The Police & TSA Agents understood my error & treated me very fairly.

I think that lost about 5 pounds by sweating:D

That's okay.

I've been a terrarist for a while.

I usually forget to take out my toiletries and there's sometimes something that's over 100 ml in there.

I haven't been called on it yet.

If I am, I'll just say, okay, here you go, and if there's something over 100 ml, I'll just tell them to toss it.

Maybe I'll distract them by putting a huge thing of KY in there.

I'm surprised those knuckleheads even noticed.

I think those knuckleheads deserve a lot more leeway now that Airlines are going for a checked bag fee from passengers. They have a really difficult (albeit tedious) and important job. I seem to get special screening all the time (Airnet frequently buys positive space tickets at last notice), and try to be as respectful as I possibly can. Almost always, the respect is returned.

ahahaha, Mike. Now THAT was funny! I would have loved to have been a witness to your screw-up. Yeah, I know, I know....my day will come! :buck: :D

BTW, good luck with the rest of the move. :)
