Trying to track down the crew from a Silver flight today....

This is a shot in the dark, but it's JC so it's worth trying.

Today I was talking to the crew of Silver 2140 while inbound to Exuma, Bahamas on the radio and on the ground after our flight. If you happen to be a member here, shoot me a PM.

Cory

2140 isn't one of our flights. Was it by chance 4041?

Has anyone ever flown with a guard nazi? I have asked every CA I've flown with for 6 yrs and no one has ever actually seen one in person. I've flown with a few of the jack holes that like to mess with people on guard and I think it's really unprofessional especially when it is long winded and they will just have to repeat themselves again on the right frequency.

"Maintainece, American 454 with a write up..."

My CA. "Go ahead 454..."

"Yeah we have a switch here that when we try and turn it on (then the guard nazis start stroking out and violently trying to get a word I ), nothing happenEHHhHhHh, so now we are EHHhHhHhH, and then we,EHEHEH, and since we had no luck, we triedOHhHhHhHhHEHHhHhHhHH AHHHHHhHhHh, so I guess we need to write it up..."

"GUARD!!!" - Nazi one

"YER ON GAAAARRDDD..." - Nazi two

"You're on guard..." - Calm Nazi

"You sir....are on guard" - Most likely a regional FO

"GET OFF THE FREQENCY!" - unintelligible but probably one of the Nazis from earlier.

If you can get a three-four way block going on the ground around buildings I've noticed you can get almost the exact same warble as the imperial scout droid from the beginning of Empire Strikes Back.

I like it when a guy calls ground for taxi clearance while he's actually on guard. I've been awfully tempted to give them taxi instructions. That would teach them frequency discipline.

No, it wouldn't......

OR..........

It would more likely result in a possible pilot deviation, or worse a movement area conflict, due probably to someone simply forgetting to twist a knob one click over or hitting a flip flop.

Something to consider if you are ever thinking about teaching someone a lesson.

Okay, I thought maybe it was that strange feeling you get when you go into the restroom at a public park and all the stalls are full. But no ones actually using the bathroom. And then DPA comes out of a stall smiling.

Yeeeeeer definitely onnnnnnnnn guarrrrrrrrrrrd then!

Well since you started it...my original response was "clenching your butt cheeks".

:)
