OKAY! For the 3rd time since the forum doesnt want to acknowledge my previous posts!!!!!:banghead:

Okay, so my trip to Toronto was this past few days. Got back last night.

To much anticipation, the 25 dollar a ticket upgrade for an earlier flight worked. We (dad and i) got the dreaded SSSS on our ticket. They basically did everything but make us bend over. They checked every crevice. Anyways, onto the flight. The LAX-ATL segment was pretty filled. There was alot of crewmembers on the flight though! At least 10 pilots, and 10 F/A's.

After the landing, we went over to catch some breakfast at some bagel sandwich shop while facing the tarmac of CRJ's and ATR's. Definately awesome, since it was nice and early in the morning and watching the rush of jets! After a small delay with our CRJ we hopped onboard. I love this plane!!! It was just so comfortable for me, consdiering im 6'2. Only thing that the headroom lacked. Uneventful nonetheless.

After our awesome time in toronto, it was time to come back.

Our flight to CVG got cancelled so off to rochester it was. After getting again the SSSS on the ticket, we checked our bags. This was weird now. The lady asks my dad "Have you declared your weapons that are in this bag?"

Ummm what the hell?! My dad said what weapons are you talking about...

Anyways, off to SSSS screaning again. This time, the people were really nice, and pretty funny too.

So our flight to ATL was crazy turbulent. Honestly it was really intense...

Anyways, after our greaser in ATL everyone deboarded and i ran up to the flightdeck. The captain was an old timer with 8000 hours! The F/O had somewhere around the region of 1300 hours, but was hired around 800 hours i believe. I got some pictures, but the captain was hesitant of me taking the pictures, but was re-assured by the F/O.

Then on to our ATL-LAX segment. We had some time in between so we got some Paschals! Pretty damn good! Then on to our flight for a full load. Our surprise for the time though, was the hiphop/R&B group B5 was sitting in front of us! So the flight passed and it was our descent into LAX.

After a great landing, i again ran up to the flight deck. The captain welcomed me open arms! Showing me around the flight deck and everything. I snatched a picture and we talked a few minutes. He gave the BEST words of wisdom and really boosted my morale. He said basically to just hang in there, and never give up on your goal and eventually - one day - you'll see the result and enjoy it most. He was surprised when i told him im 15 and doing lessons here and there. Anyways, i deplaned and waited by the bathroom for my dad. The captain walked by and shouted out in front of a LARGE croud "See ya later Shervin - Keep your head up!"

Everyone just stared at me with a weird look like "you know the captain or somethin?" I just stood there in a pretty enjoyable mood!

So thats the end to the delta trip. It was awesome. Kudos to delta!

The CRJ is now my favorite small plane!

Now seriously...what's going on.

This is the 4th time im posting this. It keeps getting deleted or something. What's the deal?

I saved it this time..

you are 6'2 and comfortable in a CRJ...how is that possible man?

Well maybe it's because im thin.

Im about 6'2 160 pounds so yeah.

Just standing up i had a problem, i found a way to walk though - lean forward. Besides that leg room and seat widthness was just fine!:p

Embraer is better.:p

That's cool that you posted a trip report. I don't remember reading any on this forum yet.

I'm 6'2", haven't weighed 160 since I was in high school, and I was more comfortable in the CRJ than in the 737-800 I rode on a few weeks ago--more ass room in the RJ!

I've never ridden in an ERJ, only sat in the cockpit of an Embraer Legacy and somehow I don't think the seats in back of an ERJ are comparable!

Oh, Bigey, just so you know...if you were on a CRJ, you weren't really "on Delta". Outta CVG, you were most likely on Comair--a "Delta Connection" carrier. (Yeah, I know they're wholly owned by Delta. Doesn't make 'em Delta.)

im 6'2 185 and i have absolutely no leg room whatsoever in the CRJs and have tons of leg room in the 738...weird...I definately agree on standing room. Two weeks ago i was 2 1/2 hours on a CRJ and i thought my legs were going to fall off...oh well, im first class all the way when i go home in two weeks!!

Yeapp, i tried to keep it limited of the whole trip thing with little things, and tried to stay brief! If you guys would like the whole "trip report" i'd be more than gladly to post it!

You're right, it was a comair flight from ATL-BUF, but the return ROC-ATL was ASA.

CRJ rocks!

I kinda like the cozy feeling of not having a CRAP load of passengers too!:buck:

Here's a pic of our aircraft from ATL to BUF!

Yea.. it even says that on the bottom of the photo!!

I think bigey meant to say "here's a pic of the same plane type we had from ATL-BUF"

Can someone say Airliners.net?

Naaaaaaw if you mean this thread. He is just sharing his experience. Cause like 2 weeks ago he was had a thread bout non-rev on DL.

So he is just finishing the story. If you were talking about my comment about the 700-series...lol that was a airliners.net post. But it was meant to be sarcastic.

Yeah, the 700 and 900 seem to be better, but for my first experience, it was AWESOME!!

One thing i noticed that was really annoying, was the windows were really low. I had lean forward and slouch my neck to look out!!:banghead: Other than that, it was awesome!

BTW, it wasnt a nonrev flight, just a priceline flight!:p

Don't take it personal. Seems like Hostway had the "B Team" working on the server migration so they're trying to clean up their screwup...
