Tricked the FAA again!

Nice work! I am almost there myself, but I am going to finish up when I get back. Did you apply for the hiring session this summer?

Yeah, I hear it is going to be really competitive this time with 73 applicants. I am just glad we are hiring though. It doesn't hurt that we get 57 new Air China students later this month too.

Who did you do it with? It was definitely a huge weight lifted off my back when I finished. Through the grapevine I hear they are hiring about 20 instructors. Brush up on your instrument skills and be ready to teach something during your interview and you cant bring any material to teach from. Also the written, unless they changed it from last time, it is pretty basic CFI and instrument stuff.

Oral was with BWIL and flight was with Dick Schulz. Pretty straightforward and by the book. Thanks for the tips on the workshop. Ryan Carlson told us to bring our binders to the workshop for the teaching portion, so maybe they changed it? I am not sure.
 
BWIL my current lead, also done a few stage checks with him. Yea last time alot of people brought their stuff and were not allowed to use it but they must have changed it. Its pretty basic interview questions with a random airplane question like how does true airspeed change with altitude then your off teaching a lesson.
