Trevor Jacob v2.0

I remember being at a college party (maybe even at my own house?) on Halloween '02, and there was a commotion outside in the alley that somehow caught our attention......it was one dude dressed as the twin towers, and another chasing him around, dressed as an airliner.

Points for not being quite able to remember whether it was your own house or not, but having a vivid play-by-play recollection of the costumes. We should hang out. 20 years ago.

N76015. Taking up unsuspecting passengers and performing negative G maneuvers in a certified category aircraft. Ya, real smart.

Wow. Those YouTube comments are full of idiots praising this “prank”. A prank that makes the victims terrified and about to die. Some of these people are likely going to be traumatized for life.

What is happening these days where people think this is ok?

It’s 2023. Fake is my guess. No way were those in the back seat “clueless.” They knew, all acted for the scene.

The actual airplane flying is real, and yikes for doing negative G maneuvers!

Wow. You actually did this?
I'm not sure how you interpret "totally never", but here in the land of standing when we pee and maybe spraying the tile a bit to build its immune system in its process...

But on a side note, I find it pretty funny that you'd find it more shocking if I did do something like that than if I didn't, knowing that I started flying at 15 and that I'm me. Then again if you told me you never did anything dumb just because it was funny during your flight training\time building, I guess I would honestly believe you.

I can honestly say I’ve never done anything intentionally stupid or reckless in an airplane just for kicks.

I started flying loooong after my frontal cortex had reached maturity.

…which doesn’t absolve the unintentional stupidity I’ve sometimes displayed in airplanes, which is arguably worse.

Does anyone else think he writes like an Airliners.net version of ChatGPT?

“A YouTuber accused of deliberately crashing his plane to get a boost in views has agreed to plead guilty to obstructing a federal investigation, the US Department of Justice announced.

Trevor Jacob, 29, faces up to 20 years in federal prison after he purposely destroyed the wreckage of the small single-engine plane that he crashed in California’s Los Padres national forest in 2021, according to a statement from the US attorney’s office.”

Dude actually went through the lengths to helicopter the crashed airplane out and brought it back to his hangar where he cut it up and dumped the parts in local dumpsters.

He’ll get at most a couple years in a club fed, but I wonder if that was worth the Youtube clout.

What a dumba$$

same recent update, some additional content as well
