Gorgeous! Look's so peaceful just bobbing there with the engine off. Man, machine, nature Awesome.
 
You picked the perfect time of year to head up there. I was up that way this past weekend and it was awesome with the trees changing.
 
They are to the south, 20+ miles.
Oh, we only went to Silver lake, Long lake and two other small lakes with stumps in them to the SW a few miles. For the most part Viz sucked and I was dodging scattered clouds at 500 - 800ft. I really enjoyed coming out of lunch at BK and getting sleeted on, or the wet snow shower I ran into on the way back to Grand Rapids. In a way it was good though as I know that little sensor on my car that shows a snowflake and says Icing potential still works ;)
