Transfer of Airplane Ownership

Just completed the sale of my 1946 Aeronca 11-AC (Chief) airplane today. Watching it depart its home of 3 years for the new tie down was a bit of mixed emotion, best termed: 'Seller's Remorse'. The cost per hour to fly it exceeded what I would pay to rent but it was mine. I got my tailwheel endorsement in it and accumulated close to 70 tailwheel hours. I'm sure that I will own more airplanes but will always remember my first.

I can only imagine! Hopefully you can take pleasure in the idea of somebody else enjoying the Chief as much as you did.

I'm married to my C-140. I've realized only two things will ever make me get rid of it--standing on the verge of bankruptcy, or needing the hangar space for a new plane ;)
