Anyone with any info on howTransStates is doing? New hires?
Junior bases? Reserve times? Upgrade times?
General QOL?
Met them@ aero crew Dallas. Pretty aggressive in recruiting. With sign on bonus. The recruiters had only wonderful things to say!

But let's hear from fellow pilots?

I'm very close to interviewing, also talked to a recruiter recently with TSA. Junior bases right now are IAD and STL, while DEN and RDU are pretty senior. I understand they're having a tough time getting butts in the right seat.

I wonder why?

I'll certainly say they're aggressive…

QOL isn't bad for a regional. Been here a little over a year and only had reserve 1.5 months. May not be the same for people hired now, just my story. Den will take forever ( I still can't hold it ) and I don't imagine RDU wouldn't take more than a few months.

RDU opened in January, and the most junior FO is a January DOH. I sure hope movement picks up in Raleigh since I live here. What makes you think it will?

because it is a good size base and movement will happen. Also a January hire is only about 4 months out training.

They "should" also add a disclaimer:

"This subsidiary of Trans State does not fly the jet pictured, our other carrier Compass does.
Total amateur non-airliners.net comment.

Like ^^ dude said, that's a 145.
The easiest give away is the narrow center pedestal, 2 FMS width, compared to a boat load of room on the 170.
