Training may be delayed a bit to rock.

So I just found out that this band I play in will be getting offered a spot on 2 weeks to a month of dates on this summer's Van's Warped Tour playing on the Smart Punk stage. This means I wont be able to fly for up to a month which really sucks but I guess oppurtunities like this only come around once in a lifetime. I may also meet some resistance from my employer as well which is making me very nervous. Damn who would have thought there would be so many factors to think about before making a decision like this it should just be a simple " HELL YES NO PROBLEM " anyway we will see. The 1st date would be July 6 in San Diego.

Sounds cool man, make the decision that makes you happy. Don't look back 10 years from now and wonder "What if I woulda......"

I have done a few tours with this band both on the east and west coast, nothing to big. The Vans Warped Tour would be the unltimate accomplishment for a no name, small time band like us. Joy for sleeping on floors, eating off $3.00 a day, dropping 10lbs and craming into a passenger van with 6 people. This sounds like a day in the life of a 1st year regional pilot. Perhaps this experience may prepare me for a career with a regional. I suppose I could consider it training :sarcasm: :)

Im not sure yet its called the Kevin Says Stage/Hot Topic. The 1st one we will be on has changed to July 7th in Pamona,CA at the LA Fairgrounds.
