Actually, I think the agreement should be beneficial to both parties, otherwise it is being signed under duress.
Courts have ruled that employment or continued employment for those forced to sign one after already employed is benefit enough for employee
 
Screw training contract/agreements/loans.

I know. I'm about to be out 5K to Mesa for leaving. Fortunately I was able to convince them that the pro rated amount is based on the date of service, not end of training like they were trying to claim. Sad thing is, I'll still come out ahead of if Id stayed.
