To the Moon!

I gotta say, I was disappointed when Victor used a great moment before sign off yesterday to invoke Christianity. He made a great speech about unity & love then oddly quoted Matthew and then the NASA commentator made sure we all knew that was Jesus' teachings right after. Kind of makes one wonder if a certain admin had something to do with that.
I was super disappointed...but religion gonna religion...all hail his noodley appendage

Or maybe, it’s just the fact that he is undeniably a Christian. Which he is.

Trump sucks but he’s not the reason everything happens.

so you would be ok with an atheist calling out religion? or...wait for it....praise be to Allah?
That's an interesting question, how would you feel if he'd done either of those options? Would you still be disappointed that religion (or the belief that it's all balderdash) was brought into it?

I am not religious, but if somebody has strong religious values and flies into outer space, I can only imagine that they feel the closest to god in that moment, and that must be very moving.

Hell, I would probably come back from space as a full-blown Christian...

See, that’s the thing about opinions. Everyone has them. Enjoy yours.
You're ok with it, because it just happens to be your particular flavor. It's ok to admit that.

Many others would view it as moment that really could have resonated with billions, but alas there had to be a smudge.

He could have kept that bit to himself.

My dad and I stumbled into the Stafford museum ten years ago by accident when we finished a project in Weatherford a day early and had some time to kill. We still talk about it being the best aerospace museum we'd ever been to and how we've got to get back there some day.
