damn straight. i didnt even bother eating steak anywhere but off my own grill after a few poor experiences with "cuisine" in gf.

i also like how "texas roadhouse" does not have a single bbq'ed/smoked meat on their menu.

yeah. real texas there, guys.

Ever since I did two things, steak at almost any restaurant just doesn't measure up.

First, I got a Big Green Egg www.biggreenegg.com
Second I had steak from Charley's http://www.talkofthetownrestaurants.com/charleys.html

Nothing compares.

Side note

What happened to SPEAK english fluently, holy Mandarin Batman, what did he just say?

imma have to check out the big green egg. whats the main idea of it?

There is nothing "exceptional" about it. It is made out of ceramic, wrapped with a thin steel skin. Temperature control is its big claim to fame. I can keep a temperature from 180 degrees up to 700 degrees with the same volume of lump charcoal.

The thing really shines when it comes to smoking. I smoke everything now, hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks, etc. There is a ceramic platter that turns it into an indirect heat cooker. No more burnt hamburgers or having to constantly flip anything, heat it up, put it on, flip it once and eat. Perfectly even heat, retains moisture great (no drying out).

I cooked a whole chicken on it once, let is cook for about 5 hours, when picked it up off the platter the bones literally fell out of the chicken and it was the most juicy chicken I have ever had. Don't get me started on brisket.....
