To late for CTI?

I just turned 28 years old in March of this year. Is it to late to start and complete a CTI program before the cut off age of 31 which would be march of 2012?

I would say no, it's not too late. There are some schools that offer a CTI program without getting a bachelor's degree. In that case, you should be able to complete your CTI training, apply, and get your TOL before your 31st birthday. Because after you get your TOL your age is frozen.

Because in my experience the wash out rate is the same with or without CTI.
And it's expensive.
And they're hiring OTS right now.
And it's 2 years of your life for a degree that only works for 1 thing.
 
I think it would be too late. Unless, you've already got alot of college credits that will transfer. Otherwise 2 years of school which will put you at 30 and with the faa hiring process...prob not a good idea to chance it.

The hiring process is quite lengthy...it can take well over a year.
