I agree. I went to catholic school for 12yrs but jeez i hate when i hear people say 'god landed the plane'.

I dunno if anyone here is into Louis CK at all, but when i saw him live last year it was just after this whole incident and he had a great bit on sully. He talked about how people were thanking a higher power and how god saved them, and then Louis comes out and says 'Hell, god was the one that put the birds there, he didn't know sully was flying that day though!'
 
OK, what is the deal with the "neck thing?" I haven't watched it but am intrigued why it is brought up.

Yeah... I looked up some interviews on youtube just to see if I could see what everyone was talking about and I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary...
 
I decided to watch it last night on the DVR and thought is was pretty well done. I too like the fact that Sully spread the credit around to where is was deserved as well.

The neck thing bugged me a little too.
