There is still a prohibited area around Crawford Texas even though stupid has not set foot there since his presidency ended, and it is for sale.

Sectionals still put giant white TFR grids up for it too...you know for whenever the president might visit Crawford Texas. Stupid Stupid Stupid.

I would never trust the dispatcher on a fire TFR..... never. Trust me on that one. They are very slow to get rid of the TFR even after the fire is out.

I know my post kinda rambled, but no one was on the same page. All of the app/dep controlers said it was active. It was on the TFR MAP, but not on the list, and Center said it was gone.

I have a better idea, get rid of TFRs. There problem solved.

Just to make the "whom to trust" issue less clear, I once had the opposite experience on a restricted area. All online sources pointed to inactive, but I called approach once airborne and they said it had been active all day.
