Tips for getting out of landing funk

I had a dry spell of about 4 flights where I sucked ass.

They were still decent landings, but they weren't up to "FF Par"

I just didn't fly for a few weeks and relaxed. When I came back, and ever since then, I've been greeeeeasin' those puppies.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I piss excellence.

Do you have a cougar riding shotgun while greasing them in?

Woo Hoo!

Went out today to do some touch and goes and was very happy with the results. Instead of trying to manhandle the aircraft I just let it fly. I set power and pitch, trimmed for each flap addition and just let her fly to the ground. I was putting it down much much closer to my desired spot. I was not coming in excessively high, had a few where I was higher than I like to be, but overall a very good day in the pattern. I kept my speed pegged where I wanted it on each leg and controlled my descent just how I like.

Thanks to all who gave advice. There is still much work to be done but today was definitely a great day of flying.:rawk::nana2:

Great!

My best advise is a stabilized approach. The Falcon and Citation fly soooo much differently that I was not transitioning that well between the two airplanes when it came to the approach & landing phase. I was able to have decent landings in each, but not what I would call greasers. I finally decided to start using the AOA gauge & the indexer (obviously you don't have either of these yet) but the point is, once I started using them, the approaches were stabilized and I've been able to make some greasers on the past few flights (of course now I've just probably jinxed myself). Something else to try is to get on a runway with an ILS and follow the glideslope down to "get the picture".
