Looks like they deleted your Facebook post. How do they let someone like that back in? From an outsider looking it, it's all about the dues.
 
Never. We used to go to TEB and made the drive to see my friend who works in the tower but even those trips have stopped.
 
As far as I can tell, there's nothing in our bylaws that would allow us to deny him membership. Not sure why you want to be mad at ALPA. We can't just deny membership to people arbitrarily.
 
Well...perhaps in the future, a change to the bylaws to state that if you purposefully embarrass the association due to providing intentionally false statements then you should not be able to hold membership.

Everyone is welcome to representation, until you pull a Tim Martin. And if you're Tim Martin, you lost your chance.

The guy is a toolbag, a liar, and god knows what else.

If previous members of a civic organization I'm a member of acted in a similar fashion as TM did with ALPA, their membership would be revoked and future membership would be unattainable.

Not that I would expect him to publicly apologize to the membership for his stunt, or even to veterans and civil servants as well, but at least that would show some remorse for his actions. If he did that, then maybe some forgiveness could be provided.
 
A friend of a friends' sisters' friend who went to school with a guy that drank a beer once with someone involved in the C5 alpa may or may have no passed along that TM is NOT currently a member of the union, and is in the appeal process to get back in. They possibly mentioned that there would be some variety of a vote involved.

He made it to captain at C5 at some point (worked an EWR-AVP flight I was a pax on).

If Facebook is to be trusted he's a Falcon driver at Talon Air out of TEB. They used to have a "proud pilot" page for him but it's since disappeared unless someone has Google archive foo.

A friend of mine knows him, said he got fired from American Eagle second day of sim.

I just stalked his FB...he got on a 135 outfit out of Wisconsin flying citations as an FO...Red Wing Aero.
