I apologize for the new thread, but couldn't find an appropriate thread to tack on to. But people wonder about how long everything takes, so I thought I would post my update. I know people wonder about timelines to lower-need facilities. I was hired for Lindbergh International Airport in San Diego (SAN), and today I received a phone call to schedule my start date at the Academy. In San Diego, there is not much shortage (from what I have heard) because no one ever leaves. So it took this long, but I finally got my phone call.
I haven't been on here in at least 6 months. I was PUBNAT1 from 2/15/08. Got my TOL around October, 2008. Since then, not a peep. I had almost figured they had lost/ forgotten me.
(Now comes the part where I call them back to turn down the Academy date because I have since signed up for a nursing program- started school yesterday. And TODAY I get the call for ATC? Crazy.)
