Time to FOL

Did some searching but didn't get any results...

How long did it take for you to get your FOL after getting verbal verification on a class date?

I got my class date (8-20) more than 2 months ago. All of my clearances have been signed off on for more than a month, and I still don't have my FOL.

I was in a similar situation, I got my class date in early March, but did not get an FOL until mid-May, and that was after significant follow up, I am also set for 8/20. pd82, I know its a pain and fustrating but I would start calling your HR, its getting close enough that it is important to get the absolute FOL so you can start to look at booking housing in OKC, and there is some post FOL paperwork to complete too.

I got my class date on Thursday (7/14 terminal basics). How long do you think I should wait before contacting my HR rep about not receiving a FOL?
 
One thing to bear in mind while attempting to patiently wait for your HR representative to send you an FOL is the expiration on the drug test - 6 months.

I attended the Kansas City PEPC 11/18/2008, wizzed in some cups, and received an email in December 2008 about a class date on 07/01/2009.

HR keeps track of the expiration dates on your drug test results and you need to re-test every 6 months. I couldn't be issued a formal FOL until I passed another drug test around the March 2009 timeframe. I think they try to time it so that your next drug test is due when you show up to your facility after OKC.
 
My test expires on the 26th of June or July.. Not sure which.

If I don't get anything after this coming week I'll start pestering HR about it again.

In the meantime, I'm doing research on places to live.
 
You should contact your HR rep asap about retaking your drug test. They will want you to retake it prior to your arrival in OKC. Also. I was confirmed verbally in January and didn't receive my FOL and academy pamphlet until 10 days prior to starting basics. (March 20th started class 3/31)
